3.5" performance exhaust system. Made by hand. With ECE licence.

The EGO-X exhaust system for the Volkswagen Arteon incl. Shooting Brake was specially developed for the powerful 2.0 TSI with 280 / 320 hp. It combines powerful sound, high-quality stainless steel workmanship and precise fit with modern flap technology.

Manufactured in the TIG welding process and equipped with hand-made absorption silencers without chambers, the system ensures a sporty sound character and a high-quality performance look.

Tail pipe variants

Two tailpipe solutions are available for this exhaust system:

Variant 1: OEM exhaust pipes (only for facelift models)

In this variant, the original series tailpipes are adopted.

Important:

The removal and re-welding of the OEM exhaust pipes is necessary and can only be carried out by us on site in Lübeck.

This variant is therefore only available with assembly at HG-Motorsport in Lübeck.

Variant 2: Accessories - exhaust pipes e.g. 145 × 90 mm (only for facelift models)

This variant is ready for shipment and is supplied with selected tailpipes.

Perfect Matching are :

• 4 exhaust pipes in the format 145 × 90 mm

• Connection via 63 mm ball head

• stainless steel or carbon optional

This variant can be ordered and shipped without re-welding the standard tailpipes.

Variant 3: DNFE Models 280 HP - 90° Bent Down

This variant can be shipped and only fits models that have no cut-outs in the rear bumper as standard

Flap system

The EGO-X exhaust system is equipped with an electric exhaust flap. The matching SBS motor is included in the delivery.

If the ECE variant is selected, the Bull-X Tronic control unit is also supplied. This controls the flap automatically in accordance with the ECE regulations.

This flap exhaust system has an ECE approval and can therefore be used legally on public roads without registration in the vehicle documents.

The ECE system is not affected by the so-called “flap ban” and may continue to be used legally in road traffic.
