EGO-X exhaust system 3.5" VW Golf 8 R (export version without ECE)

This EGO-X exhaust system without ECE for the VW Golf 8 R is handmade in our factory in Lübeck. The tube diameter is 3.5 inches (89mm).

Attention: Export version without approval with one of the two OEM actuators (the motor is taken over, which is always open in race mode)

The entire system is made of stainless steel and is manufactured using the TIG welding process.

The damper is made with absorption technology and ensures a sonorous sound even when the damper is closed.

This exhaust system is perfectly suitable for production vehicles, as well as for vehicles with increased power engines.

For the flap control, simply take the left OEM actuator and plug & play and mount the EGO-X exhaust system.

The right actuator is shut down with a plug/deleter. This is included in the delivery.

We have deliberately and for the following reason only taken the left flap and not the right ones:

When stationary, both flaps open in Race mode, so you can open the flap when stationary despite OEM control.

During driving at full throttle, the left flap also opens, but closes again from a certain speed/load and thus reduces unpleasant frequency ranges.

With the OEM exhaust system, there is a drone here, which has been significantly reduced with our system.

As soon as the flap is closed, you are quieter and more comfortable with the EGO-X than with the standard system.

If we had also taken over the right flap, the flap would always be permanently open in all race modes and could become uncomfortable on long distances.

To keep the flap permanently open in all areas, simply order our Bull-X Tronic Valve-control as a set with your EGO-X.

Here you can determine via app, whether the flap should be open or closed. And that in all modes.

Attention! All offered catalysts/cat replacement tubes, except the EC-tested catalyst of the company HJS, are not permitted in the area of the road traffic regulations! Only with the EC catalytic converter can you legally move on public roads with your vehicle. The use of all other catalysts is only intended for racing purposes. If, despite our warning, you install a downpipe with a catalytic converter WITHOUT EC approval, you will be liable for criminal charges. Imminent consequences may include: expiration of the operating license, decommissioning of the vehicle, reporting for tax evasion, as well as possible investigations by the environmental authority.
