COMPETITION AIR COOLER KIT HONDA CIVIC TYPE R FK8

The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler has a new CompetitionNet (Tube Fin) with the dimensions 670 mm x 183.4 mm x 125 mm (15.4 liters), which was specially developed for the demands of the Honda Civic Type R FK8. This high-performance network offers a 91% larger intake area and 140% more network volume compared to the original intercooler.

The cast aluminium end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized using CFD simulations (for an ideal internal airflow). The intercooler is filled evenly by means of an integrated air guide inside the radiator inlet. The result is excellent cooling properties at the lowest back pressure. In addition, the newly developed Competition high-performance network provides sufficient airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, through the use of a specially manufactured air guide plate, and is also very light. Thus, this kit is just right for racing. An optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!

An anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity properties protects the WAGNERTUNING intercoolers from all environmental influences, resulting in a lasting and optimal cooling effect. The installation is carried out at the original attachment points and is easy to perform (plug and play). All our products are subject to continuous quality monitoring.
